Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of HitBinder ("HitBinder", "we", "us"), a peer-to-peer trading-card marketplace operated by Aroovo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must complete identity verification before trading. Verification is handled by Stripe Identity.
- During the current phase HitBinder is available to UK-based traders only.
- One account per person. Operating multiple or fraudulent accounts is grounds for removal.
2. Your obligations as a trader
- Accurate listings. Describe condition, grading and authenticity honestly. Photos should reflect the actual item.
- Honour accepted trades. Once both sides accept (and any fee is paid), you are committing to ship the agreed items.
- Ship insured and tracked. Every parcel must use a tracked service whose compensation covers the trade's declared value. This protects both sides against loss or damage in transit.
- No prohibited items. Counterfeit, altered, or stolen cards are banned. Misrepresentation, harassment, and attempts to circumvent the platform or its fees are not allowed.
3. Fees
Joining, listing, and matching are free. A small administration fee applies to completed trades — the exact amount is shown to you at checkout before you confirm. There is no subscription and no listing fee.
If a trade does not complete (for example it is cancelled before shipping, or a dispute is resolved in a way that unwinds it), fee handling is dealt with through our dispute process; fees may be refunded at our discretion where a trade fails through no fault of the party who paid.
4. Shipping, insurance and risk
Title and risk in the cards pass directly between the two traders. Because insured shipping is mandatory, loss and damage in transit are covered by the carrier's compensation scheme — claims are made with the carrier by the sender. HitBinder facilitates and records the shipment but is not the carrier and does not insure the goods itself.
5. Disputes
If something goes wrong, open a dispute on the trade page with evidence (photos, tracking, timestamps). We aim to mediate within 48 hours. Our mediation decisions are made in good faith on the evidence available; they do not replace your rights to pursue a carrier insurance claim or other legal remedies.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, attempt fraud, or put other members at risk. You may close your account at any time; some records (trade history, audit logs) are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, HitBinder is not liable for the conduct of members, the condition or authenticity of cards, or losses arising from trades beyond our role as facilitator. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
