How HitBinder works

HitBinder is a collection & wishlist platform for Pokémon singles, bridged to eBay. You build a binder of the cards you own and the cards you want, get a free, honest valuation on every one, and buy or sell through eBay — HitBinder is the discovery, valuation and tracking layer, so the money and the cards move on eBay, not through us. Here's the whole flow, start to finish.

The short version: add the cards you own and want → see a free valuation on every card → buy your wants on eBay and sell your owned on eBay. No peer-to-peer trades, no escrow, no ID checks, no fees to you.

1. Getting started

Join free — just an email, no ID checks and no card details. You build your binder straight away and every card is valued from the moment you add it. HitBinder is UK-focused during the current phase, and the live catalogue is English Pokémon (more games and languages are on the roadmap).

2. Your binder: Owned & Wanted

Everything lives in one binder, split two ways:

Owned — the cards you have. Track condition and grading, watch their total value move, and mark any of them For Sale when you want to move them on.
Wanted — the cards you're hunting. Each one surfaces live eBay listings to buy, cheapest first, plus any members selling that exact card.

Add cards by searching the catalogue or by snapping a photo — tap the camera in the add box and we identify the card for you. Tap any empty sleeve's + to add straight into the page you're looking at. Organise cards into multiple named binders per game (with their own covers), and import a full set in one go. View it all as an animated binder you flip through, a grid, or a compact list — your choice is remembered.

3. Browse & discover

The Browse page is your window on the whole catalogue and community. Search the full catalogue, scan a card to jump straight to it, or see what other members own and want. Find a card you're after and it's one tap to add it to your Want list — or straight to its live eBay listings.

4. Valuations & analytics

Every card carries a free, honest valuation — and it stays free, with no paywall. This is the heart of HitBinder:

Blended market value in GBP — raw and PSA-10 graded — so you always know what a card is worth, whether you own it or you're about to buy it.
Population data and weekly price trends, with a market index and the top risers and fallers across every set.
Portfolio tracking — your binder's total value over time, with cost-to-complete on the sets you're chasing.
Collection analytics — break your collection down by type, rarity and chase category, and track set completion as you go.

5. Buying what you want

Open any Wanted card and HitBinder shows you live eBay listings for it, cheapest first, alongside any members selling that exact card. Tap through and you buy on eBay, under eBay's own buyer protection — HitBinder never handles the payment or the card. When you buy through one of our links, eBay may share a small affiliate commission with us at no extra cost to you — see our affiliate disclosure.

6. Selling what you own

To sell a card you own, list it on eBay as normal, then mark the card For Sale in your binder and paste the link to your eBay listing. HitBinder surfaces it to members who want that exact card and on the card's page, sending targeted buyers straight to your listing. The sale completes on eBay, under eBay's seller protections — we never hold your cards or your cash.

7. What we do & don't do

We do: track what you own and want, value every card for free, surface live eBay listings on your wants, and route targeted buyers to the cards you list for sale.
We don't: run peer-to-peer trades, hold escrow, verify IDs, arrange shipping, or take a fee from you. All buying and selling happens on eBay, under eBay's protections.
